Tidepooling Dates and Times 2026
Plan Your Trip Around Them!
This activity is linked to very specific dates and times. Generally, I don't schedule tidepooling trips unless the low tide is predicted to be minus three-feet or lower. This only happens a few times each month. Please see the list below to determine if your trip coincides with one of these times.
If you'd rather snorkel the tide pools to see what life is like underwater, I highly recommend you get in touch with Alaska Freediver, also based here in Seldovia. They have all the equipment you need for wild swimming.
Please Note: Any trip that begins before 10:00 AM will require you spend the previous night in Seldovia!
Trips with start times of 10:00 AM or later can work without an overnight stay, but only if you fly over on Smokey Bay Air's first flight of the day (departs Homer at 9:00 AM.)
