Cindy Mom brings over twenty years of guiding experience to Seldovia Nature Tours. She has led countless interpretive field trips and outdoor activities in Alaska, Massachusetts, Michigan, and Florida. Prior to founding Seldovia Nature Tours, she worked as a full time guide on St. Paul Island in Alaska’s Pribilofs (Bering Sea), served as a seabird and shorebird biologist for the National Park Service and U.S. Fish and Wildlife, and managed nature preserves for two different land conservancies. Her varied career has allowed her plenty of time in the field to explore and get to know the birds, plants, insects, and animals in many different habitats. Through photography, writing, and storytelling, Cindy enjoys sharing her love of the natural world with others.
